missamandi-br

Trowelled bronze on half a chestnut trunk. The black is not paint. We dissolve steel wool in white wine vinegar, and the iron oxide solution reacts with the tannins in the wood. It penetrates deep into the grain and does not fade. The castors are hidden beneath the top, making the table appear to float.
